I Cannae Implement the Laws of Physics - Not!!
A long time ago I read a review of Sensible Soccer on the Amiga, where legendary game reviewer Stuart Campbell stated that it was "attention to detail" that made the difference between good games and brilliant games. It was something like that anyway, but it was about 20 years ago so forgive if I'm wrong. It's always stuck with me when creating games, even if I haven't had the time to actually implement these little bits of "attention to detail".
One thing that certainly does elevate good games to great games (not that I would be bodacious (dude) enough to say my games were in anyway great - that's for other people to say) is implementing physics. So that's what I've gone and bloody-well done!
In the latest version of Worldcrafter, there are two new features: gravity when jumping, and sliding when on ice. They might seem small and insignificant, but remember, it's attention to detail that counts!

Worldcrafter Gameplay Video
Here's a gameplay video of Worldcrafter that I created. Sorry the picture is a bit blurry; the phone I used to record it couldn't quite focus properly.

Good Reviews!
I've got no way of thanking the people who've left a good review for me, apart from through the medium of this blog. It's always gratifying to know the people actually enjoy playing the apps and games I've created, and these people seem to be having a great time with Worldcrafter:-
So a big thank-you to Thomas and James!

Worldcrafter Update
Phew, it's been a while but I finally got round to updating Worldcrafter. There are a few changes including new animals and a new way of eating, but by far the most important is the new ability to save maps and then share the files with other people.
Map files are saved onto the SD card in the 'Worldcrafter' directory. If you've created any interesting worlds, please pass them on!

My sprites and other animals
There's been a bit of gap with updates to Worldcrafter since I've been working on an Android client for Stellar Forces, which is being released imminently. I've been creating a few new creatures though, like cows and chickens; the chickens will probably lay eggs, and the cows might do something with milk if I can work out some kind of gameplay into the process.
